About Pramble

Pramble is a community-powered map that helps parents and caregivers navigate the city with a pram or baby carrier. Instead of guessing which streets are steep, uneven, or cut off by stairs, Pramble shows real-world accessibility ratings contributed by people who have actually walked the route.

Every coloured path on the map is built from user submissions. Parents record a walk in real time, mark a route from home, or place a family-friendly spot — a playground, a changing table, a bench, a pram-friendly café — and the whole community benefits from their experience. The more people contribute, the clearer the city becomes for everyone pushing a pram or carrying a little one.

Pramble is built for parents, grandparents, childminders, and anyone walking with young children. It is designed to be honest and practical: ratings reflect real conditions on the ground, and venues are added by the people who use them, not scraped from a directory. If a path is muddy or a footpath is blocked, you will see it on the map before you set off.

Pramble is built and maintained by an independent team. The app runs on the Base44 platform, with map data from OpenStreetMap contributors, place data from Geoapify, and route matching from OpenRouteService. It is free to explore, and contributions are always welcome.
